The new, main gallery is now called the Critique Gallery. This gallery is where you will find the Admins, and others, spending their critiquing time. If an Admin wishes to wander into the Member Gallery they are free to do so, but do not expect any critiques unless it strikes the Admin to critique it.

On Limitations

I was thinking over the weekend about some of the photographs I’ve seen on the net over the years. While I believe that the quality of photographs on the whole are going downhill due to the fact that digital cameras create images at virtually no cost so millions of photographs are being taken that would not have been taken in the days of film so it’s a volume thing for the most part. At the same time I see images created with tools that just can’t do the job. That got me to thinking about limitations, and having a decent sense of what those limitations are.
